Introducing Google Wallet – just tap your phone and go.

It’s more secure than your current credit card, but you’ll probably need to hang on to your plastic for a little while longer until Google have finalised agreements with all credit card suppliers and more retail outlets install NFC readers. Interestingly, Apple created a lot of buzz around NFC earlier this year, but it won’t be available on an iPhone until at least July 2012… Android definitely has the jump on this one, and Apple’s “not the first, but the best” argument may not be enough this time around.
